Current Research Engagement:

  • Currently pursuing Doctoral Research (Ph.D.)under the supervision of Amit S. Varale at A.S.P. College (Autonomous), Devrukh, affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The research work focuses on Oxidation of aromatic acid hydrazide by Thallium (III) in acidic medium-A kinetic and mechanistic approach.

Academic Achievements of Students:

  • Miss Snehal Rasal– Achieved 3rd Rank at the University Level in Y.B.Sc. Chemistry (2014-2015).
  • Miss Rupali Shinde– Secured 1st Rank at the University Level in Y.B.Sc. Chemistry (2016-2017).
  • Miss Isharat Kazi– Honored with the Gold Medal in M.Sc. II (Organic Chemistry) from the University of Mumbai and recipient of the prestigious Swatantraveer Sawarkar Gold Medal for outstanding academic excellence.

Teaching Excellence and Academic Innovations

  • Technology-Driven Teaching Practices:

Implementing ICT-enabled modern teaching techniques, including the use of PowerPoint presentations, interactive discussions, student-led seminars, and creative educational models. These approaches foster enhanced student engagement and deeper conceptual understanding.

  • Industry-Oriented Learning Initiatives:
Coordinated numerous industrial and research exposure visitsto reputed organizations such as Auchtel Chemicals, Gadre Marines, Ultratech Cement, and renowned research institutions. This practical exposure bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
  • Continuous Evaluation Strategies:
  • Developed and executed regular assessments, quizzes, and tests, ensuring continuous feedback, performance tracking, and active student participation.
  • Digital Education via YouTube:
  • Founded and actively curate an educational YouTube channelfocused on Chemistry, featuring over 200+ recorded lectures aligned with Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) curricula. This platform serves as a valuable free learning resource, particularly benefiting students from remote or underserved areas.

Institutional Responsibilities and Committees

  • Committee Leadership Roles:
  • NAAC Criteria-7 Committee– Leading initiatives related to Institutional Values, Best Practices, and fostering a quality culture within the institution.
  • Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS)– Responsible for the design, execution, and analysis of student feedback mechanisms to enhance academic and infrastructural quality.
  • Active Member of the Following Committees:
  • Grahak Bhandar (Consumer Store Committee)– Supporting the management and smooth functioning of the cooperative store for staff and students.
  • Time Table Committee– Contributing to the efficient preparation and management of the academic timetable for various courses.
  • Special Cell Committee– Working towards the welfare, support, and empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged student communities.
  • Admission Committee– Actively involved in managing the entire admission process, including counseling, document verification, and smooth onboarding of students.
